HIKING

Athens is surrounded by the sea to the south and four mountains — Mt. Parnitha, Mt. Hymettos, Aigaleos and Pentali Mountain. These nature areas are a playground with hiking trails, caves, waterfalls, archaic churches, Byzantine ruins, aromatic forests and a bit of wildlife.

If you are spending several days in Athens, it’s a smart idea to take a break from the urban scene and immerse yourself into total greenery. Our guides pave the way by taking you on a hearty hike whose trail head is no more than an hour’s drive from the city center. Guaranteed you will return to your hotel super refreshed and eager for a delicious Greek dinner at an EcoAthens recommended place to eat.

Eco-Athens offers multi-day packaged tours where we help you select from all available activities, active and leisure, to create daily itineraries.   Be sure to include a hike as one of your activities!
