Argosy, attends 2016 The East Med Yacht Show

It was with great success that we participated in the prestigious East Med Yacht Show May 13-18, 2016 at Zeas Marina in Piraeus under the wing of our sister brand, Argosy.

We were amongst the finest Crewed Charter Yachts showcasing our handcrafted traditional wooden yacht, the 25 meter Apollon, known as a motor sailer.   Our company Argosy owns and operates the Apollon and we manage a fleet of other wooden yachts.  We are the only tour operator in Greece focusing exclusively on wooden yachts.

Our beautiful artisanal yacht drew a great deal of interest from visitors who were eager to come on board to view the fine craftsmanship.  The Apollon also attracted many visitors as the boat was equipped with bicycles, sea kayaks and fishing gear. Attendees to the East Med Yacht Show were wholly intrigued by our innovative sailing concept to offer exciting land and sea activities for the active and leisure traveler, such as biking, hiking, scuba diving, culinary classes and wine tasting.

Sail and Cycle is our unique way to travel on land and sea. The yacht holds up to 30 bikes which are used  by guests on Day Sail to pedal around harbor towns or on Multi-Day Cruises to venture deeper inland with a guide.

The exhibition culminated in our very successful Apollon/Argosy party which was attended by press and media representatives, local officials and fellow tour operators. Not only did we provide an impressive buffet for our guests but it was an event to be remembered by all.
The East Med Yacht Show 2016 was attended by charter brokers, professionals of the yachting world and media representatives.  The event was organised by the Hellenic Professional Yacht Owners Association (HPYOA), the Hellenic Yacht Brokers Association (H.Y.B.A.) in collaboration with Hellenic Association of Travel and Tourist Agencies (H.A.T.T.A.) and the Greek Professional Bareboat Yacht Owners Association (SITESAP).
